Create a new item of type "page" and fill it with your desired content. Tip: Use sections, rows and columns to structure your content. For further information go to the documentaion for layouting.
In Kentico on the top right side there is a button called "More Actions". Click on it and select the option "collapse components".
Configuration
To see changes made in the theme configuration, we need to re-deploy the project. The same applies to changes that are made in the message bundle and client config. In these cases please contact us.

Components
Headlines and Text
Yes, the text element of type "text" can be maintained using the pre-defined sizes from x-small to xx-large.
At the beginning you set the standard headline color in the theme. Every headline element though can be overwritten with an own color.
Image
For adding images use the component "Image".
You can upload images in the following formats: .jpg, .png and .gif.
We advise to use:
.jpg for photos and other images which are rich in detail
.png for graphics with large single-color areas, text and transparency
.gifs for animations
The file size of images has an impact on the performance of the website and can therefore affect the user experience by causing long loading times. You can optimize the file size of an image by choosing the right file type (.jpg, .png or .gif), compressing it (i.e. by using Photoshop's "save for web"-tool) and choosing the right pixel dimensions to keep the file size at a minimum.
To calculate the ideal pixel dimensions of an image, take the maximal width of where the image will be placed. For example using an image in a quarter teaser: maximum page width 1.300px, teaser is 1/4 of the page = 1.300/4.
Yes. Several files that have been optimized for different viewports can be uploaded in one "image item". You can work with different aspect ratios or file sizes, for example. The file name extension ensures that the correct file is displayed. It can end with "mobile", "tablet" or "desktop".
- If you don’t upload images of all three device sizes, the image for the next bigger device will be displayed. For example if you look at your page in a tablet-sized viewport, and you only have uploaded a mobile- and a desktop-sized image, the desktop-sized image will be displayed.
- The order of the images is only relevant in one exceptional case: if there is no image available for the given viewport, the first image will be displayed. For example if you uploaded a mobile-sized image first and then a tablet-sized one. When looking at your page in a desktop-sized viewport, the mobile-sized image will be displayed. Given this, it makes sense to upload the largest image first.
There is no limitaion for the aspect ratio of images. It is advisable to use the same aspect ratio for images that are placed next to eachother. For example for images placed in teasers a good aspect ratio could be 3:2, 1:1 or 16:9. Images used in the component "image-slider" must have the same aspect ratio.
Publication
Yes, you can add the component "publications" in any page.
Search
The following pages are excluded from the search: internal server error page and page not found.
Slider
With the component "Image-Slider" or "Teaser-Slider" you can create sliders.
Teasers
Teasers automatically wrap. It is enough to create one row even for a large number of teasers.
Create a section. In the section add a row and add four teaser components with the width of 1/4.
Yes, you can initially set this configuration in the theme.
